Marc Jones is the owner and landlord of The Red Lion Betchworth, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in the UK hospitality industry to one of Surrey’s most loved village pubs.
Since beginning his pub management career in March 1996, Marc has built a reputation as a respected and accomplished publican, known for running successful, community-focused pubs in challenging economic climates.

With a broad skill set that spans hands-on chef work, business development, team leadership and pub operations, Marc has consistently grown hospitality businesses while maintaining high standards of food, service and atmosphere.

Hospitality is also where Marc met his wife and business partner, Maureen, and their children and grandchild. They proudly run The Red Lion Betchworth as a family-owned, family-operated pub.
At its heart, the Red Lion is a firmly local business — a welcoming venue for residents, walkers, celebrations and visitors alike, and a cornerstone of the Betchworth community.
